5.3 Termination Procedures

5.3.1 Termination Reasons

Termination of employment may occur for various reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Performance issues or failure to meet job expectations.

  • Violation of company policies or codes of conduct.

  • Economic or operational reasons, such as layoffs or restructuring.

  • Misconduct or ethical violations.

  • Job role redundancy or elimination.

5.3.2 Notice of Termination

In most cases, employees will receive written notice of their termination during a meeting with their immediate supervisor or manager. The notice will include the effective termination date, the reason for termination, and information on the return of company property.

In cases of serious misconduct or policy violations, immediate termination without prior notice may be considered.

5.3.3 Return of Company Property

Terminated employees are required to return all company property, including keys, access cards, electronic devices, and any other equipment or materials issued by the company, during or immediately following the termination meeting.

5.3.4 Final Paycheck

Employees will receive their final paycheck, including all wages earned up to the termination date, minus any authorized deductions, on the company's regular payroll schedule.

5.3.5 Security Access & Systems:

Termination of employment will result in the immediate revocation of access to company premises and systems. IT personnel will ensure that access credentials are disabled promptly.

5.3.6 Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Obligations:

Terminated employees are expected to continue honoring their confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations, as outlined in any agreements they may have signed during their employment.

5.3.7 Final Documents

We will provide departing employees with any final documents, such as the termination letter and any necessary forms, to complete the termination process.
