5.2 Resignation process
5.2.1 Resignation Notice
Employees who intend to resign from their position are encouraged to provide written notice to their immediate supervisor or manager. The notice should include the last working day and may include a brief reason for resigning, although this is optional.
The standard notice period for resignations is 30 days. However, employees should refer to their employment contract, if applicable, as notice periods may vary based on job roles and responsibilities.
5.2.2 Exit Interview
Employees who resign from their positions may be invited to participate in an exit interview. The purpose of the exit interview is to gather feedback about the employee's experience and to ensure a smooth transition.
5.2.3 Return of Company Property
Upon resignation, employees are required to return all company property, including but not limited to keys, access cards, electronic devices, and any other equipment or materials issued by the company.
Failure to return company property may result in deductions from the final paycheck to cover the replacement cost.
5.2.4 Final Paycheck
Employees will receive their final paycheck on the company's regular payroll schedule following the end of their employment. The final paycheck will include all wages earned up to the last working day, minus any authorized deductions.
5.2.5 Return of Confidential Information:
Upon resignation, employees are expected to return any confidential or proprietary information and materials in their possession, whether in physical or digital format.
5.2.6 Non-Compete & Non-Disclosure Agreements
Employees should review any non-compete, non-solicitation, or non-disclosure agreements they may have signed during their employment. Compliance with these agreements is expected after resignation.
