4.1 Vacation leave

4.1.1 Eligibillity

All regular full-time employees are eligible for vacation leave benefits. Part-time and temporary employees may be eligible for prorated vacation leave benefits based on their employment status.

4.1.2 Requesting Vacation Time

Employees should request vacation time off in advance, whenever possible, by following the company's leave request procedure. Requests should be submitted through the designated system or to the supervisor.

While we make every effort to accommodate vacation requests, approval is subject to business needs and workload considerations. Requests will be evaluated based on the order they are received and seniority when applicable.

4.1.3 Scheduling Vacation

Employees are encouraged to plan their vacations in coordination with their manager to ensure minimal disruption to workflow.

In certain cases, peak business periods or critical projects may require restrictions on vacation time, and employees will be notified accordingly.

4.1.4 Holidays During Vacation

If a recognized holiday falls during an employee's approved vacation, the employee may have the option to use an additional vacation day or receive holiday pay, depending on company policy and applicable laws.
