4.2.1 Usage of Sick Leave
Sick leave is intended for the employee's own illness or injury, medical appointments, or to care for an ill family member as defined by company policy.
To request sick leave, employees should follow the company's leave request procedure. Requests should be submitted as soon as practicable when the need for sick leave arises.
4.2.2 Certification for Extended Sick Leave
In cases of extended sick leave (typically exceeding three consecutive days), We may require medical certification from a healthcare provider to verify the need for leave.
4.2.3 Notification of Sick Leave
Employees should notify their immediate supervisor or manager as early as possible when they are unable to work due to illness. In cases of extended illness, regular updates should be provided.
