2.18 Disciplinary action
Our Company holds each of its employees to its rules and standards of ethical conduct. The employee's supervisor takes action when employees deviate from them.
Though the Company usually takes a progressive approach to discipline, some actions are grounds for immediate employment termination.
2.18.1 Prohibited actions
These include but are not limited to:
Sharing company business practices
Performing work other than what the employee was assigned, as well as refusing to perform the assigned work and any other clear act of insubordination.
Engaging in, as well as not reporting to the employer, and when legally or otherwise regulated, also to the relevant authorities, any illegal practices that endanger the good reputation, financial security, or legal integrity of the employer.
Being in a drunken or drugged state within the company.
Bringing alcoholic beverages or drugs into the company.
Leaving work without authorization or permission during working hours.
Bringing unauthorized individuals into the company or granting them access to business related data.
Any form of theft.
Any form of violence against persons.
Any form of vandalism within the company.
Any behavior within the company that goes against good morals.
Any act of unfair competition against the employer.
Any form of active or passive private bribery.
Distributing or posting printed materials or writings, conducting propaganda, organizing collections, or offering items for sale in the company without prior permission from the employer.
Falsifying work documents, medical certificates, and other certificates requested by the employer.
Performing personal work and other activities for private purposes during working hours.
Repeated unjustified absences.
Making critical, offensive, and/or offensive comments about the company, the employer, hierarchical superiors, colleagues, and/or customers and suppliers of the employer on social media (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, or any other existing or future social network).
Disseminating confidential information on social media (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, or any other existing or future social network).
Etc.
2.18.2 Liability
The employee is liable for any damage caused to the employer or third parties during the execution of the employment contract, resulting from willful intent, gross negligence, or repeated minor negligence on the part of the employee.
Compensation for damages arising from the employee's liability as described above can be determined either through an agreement between the employer and the employee or through a court decision.
