2.6 Remote work
2.6.1 Introduction
We recognize the benefits of remote work, both for employees and the organization as a whole. This Remote Work Policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for employees who have been approved to work remotely.
2.6.2. Remote Work Arrangements
Remote work may be provided on a full-time or part-time basis, as determined by the employee's manager and the nature of the job.
2.6.3 Equipment & Technology
Employees working remotely are responsible for maintaining the provided hardware & software. We provide a separate guide with best practices regarding the use of our equipment.
2.6.4 Work Environment
Remote employees are responsible for establishing a safe, secure, and productive work environment at their remote location.
The work environment should be free from distractions and conducive to effective work. This includes ensuring the confidentiality and security of company and client information.
2.6.5 Hours & Availability
Remote employees are expected to adhere to their regular work schedule, unless otherwise agreed upon with their manager.
Employees should remain accessible during work hours and promptly respond to communication from colleagues and supervisors.
2.6.6 Communication & Collaboration:
Effective communication is essential for remote work success. Employees must regularly communicate with their manager and colleagues through available tools and channels.
Collaboration tools and platforms provided by our Company should be used for team meetings, project discussions, and other work-related activities.
2.6.7 Data Security
Remote employees must adhere to all company data security policies and procedures. This includes safeguarding confidential and proprietary information.
The use of secure VPN connections and encryption tools may be required when accessing company systems and data remotely.
2.6.8 Performance & Expectations
Remote employees are held to the same performance standards as in-office employees. Performance evaluations and expectations will not be compromised due to remote work arrangements.
Managers will assess remote employee performance based on results, productivity, and meeting established objectives.
